Portable Lidar Cart-Designed and built by an aerospace company in Arizona
is this "Lidar Cart". It is a 3' x 5' x 4" thick Newport Optical breadboard mounted on a welded frame. The elevation range is -2 degrees to +44 degrees, and azimuth is at least +/- 20 degrees for pointing the laser and sensors with extreme accuracy. There is a remote control box to control the system with a 100 foot long cable. The cart is mounted on pneumatic tires for field use. When arriving at location, you just drop down the stabilizers/outriggers and you are ready to go. This system was used in oceanic Lidar, and had the LPY-600/700 mounted on the breadboard with support equipment. The last picture is looking up at the bottom of the assembly.
